Chi Chi Maté Langlah is an Afro-dutch creative of Ghanaian/Nigerién and Nigerian descent. Born and raised in Amsterdam Netherlands.
She moved to London to further her education and career.
As of recently Fashion promotion undergraduate, from university for the creative arts.
She is an multi-media artist whose practice focuses on the art of people and dress in visual culture. This fuelled her curiosity for fashion styling. she uses styling as a tool to convey unpopular stories, African folklore, stereotyping, Black diaspora history & culture. Styling is her foundation for image-making which she explores through different mediums such as photography, film, animation & sound.
